First Rays of the Rising Sun, 2017 go to page I also thought of the display windows as an invitation to the public to see into the space as they walked by, to be inviting and open, interesting and mysterious. This idea of these interstitial first rays is that they exist only briefly, and come between two events, darkness and light. It should be noted that we are in close proximity to John Hope Franklin Reconciliation Park- I thought of Tate Brady and the Race Massacre of 1921 here in Tulsa.
