
Originally commissioned by the city of Kansas City, Missouri for their Art in the Loop program, Pileus is an ongoing ceremony that uses the form of the maypole to encourage a small group of people to clothe the sculpture with colorful shrinkwrap as they circle it. Pileus V is pictured here, being used for the Turkey Creek Institute for Phenomenal Awareness Grand Finale in April 2016.
